The Project Singers consists of a girls’ choir for ages 9-17 as well as a ladies’ choir, both run by musical director, Suzanne Newman and accompanied on the piano by local musicians, Mary Daniels and Louisa Briguglio. Rehearsals take place in Charvil Village Hall near Reading, Berkshire. The girls rehearse on Sundays from 18:15-19:45 and the ladies on Mondays from 20:00-21:30. 

The choirs work on different projects throughout the year - all with a different theme - learning music from a range of genres such as folk, musicals, pop and classical. They enjoy performing a few times a year in venues such as St Mary’s Twyford and Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, as well as competing in competitions and taking exams. The girls’ choir recently achieved 94% for their grade 5 ensemble exam!

Places cost £100 per singer per project, music included.
